All About the 2019 Laramie Longhorn EditionThe luxurious Laramie Longhorn Edition is an available trim level for the 2019 Dodge RAM 1500, 2500, and 3500. It includes a hybrid powertrain, a Southwestern feel, premium leather, and real barn wood accents. The Laramie Longhorn offers an attractive exterior, a comfortable interior, excellent performance, and convenient technology.

An Attractive Exterior

You can choose bold chrome accents or a two-tone RV Match Brown trim, a chrome grille with RAM in big letters in the center, premium LED lights with an adaptive front lighting system, and 20- or 22-inch wheels. Wheel flares, chrome side steps, dual exhaust, front tow hooks, and chrome bumpers come standard. You’ll find bright chrome Laramie Longhorn Edition badges on the tailgate and the front doors, and power running boards are available.

A Comfortable Interior

The 2019 RAM 1500 Laramie Longhorn Edition has a hand-wrapped, full-grain leather dashboard, door panel coverings, and armrests. The center console, the instrument panel, parts of the seats, and the door panel inserts have a unique alligator pattern, and the steering wheel has wood accents. The door to the glove box is also real barn wood, and it has a bold Longhorn logo. For the interior colors, you can choose Mountain Brown and Light Mountain Brown or Black and New Saddle. It also comes with front and rear heated seats with ventilation.

Excellent Performance

The 1500 version of this RAM comes with a 3.6-liter V-6 engine that has 305 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque, but most people choose the 5.7-liter, HEMI V-8 engine. It can produce 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque, it can tow up to 12,750 pounds, and it can carry up to 2,300 pounds. It has an eight-speed automatic transmission, active noise canceling, and a four-corner air suspension for a smooth, confident ride.

There’s also an optional eTorque mild hybrid system with regenerative braking and automatic stop and start for better efficiency. You can add a Rambox Cargo Management System for the bed, and active grille shutters make the Laramie Longhorn more aerodynamic.

The Laramie Longhorn 3500 comes with a 6.4-liter V-8 engine that gives 410 horsepower, 429 pound-feet of torque, and up to 16,480 pounds of towing capacity. You can also add a 6.7- liter Cummins turbo diesel engine with a six-speed automatic transmission, 370 horsepower, 800 pound-feet of torque, and up to 31,210 pounds of towing capacity. With the same engine, a Laramie Longhorn 2500 can tow up to 17,980 pounds.

Convenient Technology

The Laramie Longhorn comes with nine USB ports, and the reconfigurable center console can store a laptop and two tablets. It has an 8.4-inch touchscreen, and a 12-inch version is available. The Cargo View Camera makes hooking up a trailer or checking on one easier. You can also add wireless device charging.
