4 Pet-Friendly Places in VacavilleWe tend to think of our pets as members of the family, so naturally, we want to spend as much time with them as possible. That’s why it’s great to know that there are lots of places you can take your pets in Vacaville. Here are a few of our favorites.

Journey Coffee Company 

A great place to grab a delicious cup of freshly roasted coffee and a pastry is Journey Coffee Company. This spot hosts several fun events each month, such as Ice Cream and Music Nights on Fridays and occasional open mic nights. They serve a variety of smoothies, local beers, and full lunch and dinner menus. Pawsh Place Veterinary Center and Boutique

When it’s time to treat your pet to a special treat or new gear, check out Pawsh Place. Featuring unique gifts in their boutique and gourmet “barkery” treats, this one-stop pet shop has everything you and your furry companion could want. They offer a variety of services, from grooming to training to “play care.” They regularly run specials on these services and more, so be sure to bookmark their website and check it often. Pena Adobe/Lagoon Valley Park

For a day of getting back to nature, take your pet to Pena Adobe and Lagoon Valley Park. Here you’ll find over 400 acres of hiking and biking trails for you and your pet to explore, as well as an archery range, Frisbee golf course, and a large dog park. There’s also non-motorized boating and fishing available on Lagoon Lake. Parking is three dollars per car, so be sure to have cash on hand when you visit. Pena Adobe Regional Park is on Pena Adobe Road just off I-80.

The Brass Tap

Another local eatery with large, pet-friendly patio is The Brass Tap. Voted “Best Bar in Vacaville,” this popular spot offers over 300 craft beers from all over the world. They host a variety of events each month, and there are daily specials and live music to enjoy as well. Humans can take advantage of the pub food menu, while their pets enjoy dog treats and water served by the friendly staff. There’s Yappy Hour all day on Sunday, during which you’ll receive a discount on your first beer. The Brass Tap is at 783 Orange Dr.
