Pena Adobe Regional Park
Pena Adobe Regional Park is off Interstate 80 just southwest of downtown Vacaville. The park is a popular stop for families thanks to the outdoor space. Get in touch with nature by fishing, hiking, biking, or cooking out in the summer. There’s also a historic adobe house in the area.

Vacaville Museum focuses on city and county history, making it a great stop for parents who want to teach their kids a bit about the local area. Though the museum is small with only a few exhibits, it’s the perfect way to spend an educational and fun afternoon.
Magnolia Park
Magnolia Park is one of the best parks in Vacaville. Your children will have no problem burning off some energy at the playgrounds and basketball courts. You can also bring a picnic and take advantage of the park’s barbecues and tables. In the summer, your kids can cool off on the splash pad.
Andrews Park
Another excellent outdoor space in Vacaville is Andrews Park. Though it doesn’t have a splash pad, there are some fountains where your kids can play. There are plenty of hiking trails, and the park is also a site for festivals and other events throughout the year.
