The Next Chapter is Here: Meet the 2019 Ram 1500The 2019 Ram 1500 is full of new features, including improved safety features and updated technology throughout the car to keep you connected. Here are just a few reasons why you should consider getting the 2019 Ram 1500 for your next vehicle.

New Technology

The 2019 Ram 1500 was designed to be one of the most technologically advanced pick-up trucks ever. Its UConnect 12.0 has a larger 12-inch touchscreen to make it easy to read the screen and get the features you need.  There’s even an option to have a split screen, so you can multitask and do two things at once. Pinch-and-zoom technology also makes it easy to see something closer, such as a location on a map. The digital cluster display lets you see important information right on your dashboard.

More Room

The center console folds down in the rear seat, giving passengers even more room. Seats in the back can also be reclined by eight degrees and have ventilation features. Tall passengers will appreciate the 45.1 inches of legroom in back. It’s no wonder the Ram 1500 was voted Best in Class Rear Legroom. The rear bench seat can also be folded up for 40 extra liters of storage space. It also is Best in Class for interior storage at 151.1 total liters of storage, which means it has double the amount of storage capacity inside compared to any other competitor.

Improved Safety Features

The Ram 1500 has blind spot monitoring as well as rear cross path detection to let you know immediately if something gets in your path. It also has trailer detection to account and sense for the length of a trailer the vehicle is towing. Changing lanes is simple with the LaneSense Lane Departure Warning-Plus to visually alert you if you start to drift into another lane. The vehicle will safely put the car back in the correct position. Another feature detects when the brakes need to be applied during traffic that’s slower or a potential forward collision is detected, and swiftly applies the brakes.

Increased Power and Strength

The Ram 1500 was re-engineered and built so it could set the benchmark for durability, strength, and capability. This means it’s the most capable and strong Ram yet. It has a maximum payload of 2,300 pounds for the hardest jobs and a towing capacity of 12,750 pounds. Its high-strength steel frame ensures it’ll stand up to the toughest towing job. The eTorque mild hybrid system is a new alternative to the alternator and has a 48-volt belt-driven, battery-powered motor generator. This improves payload, drivability, performance, efficiency, and towing capabilities.

Off-Roading Capabilities

The 2019 Ram 1500 is able to go off-roading thanks to the new 33-inch all-terrain tires and a two-inch height increase for extra clearance. The truck also has four corner air suspension to keep it even and on the ground no matter what the terrain is like.
