Pure Grain Bakery

Voted one of Solano County’s best restaurants in 2017, Pure Grain Bakery is a mouthwatering way to fuel your day. The key to the flavors and delectable menu items at Pure Grain comes from its classic German baking. Holger Siebert and Michael Miethe grew up together in Germany, apprenticing during their youth at Seibert’s father’s bakery. In 1989, the pair came to the United States to further their studies, but they never lost their desire to open a bakery of their own.

In 1991, their dreams came to fruition and Pure Grain Bakery opened its doors in Vacaville. This classic immigrant success story is enough to pique your interest, but once you have a bite of one of their German-style pastries, desserts, breakfasts, or sandwiches, you’ll become a believer.

Pure Grain Bakery is located at 600 Eubanks Court. Hours are from 5:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 6:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. You can also stop by the newly opened Pure Grain Cafe in downtown Vacaville for a coffee and a small selection of pastries, baked goods, and sandwiches.
