Music is a favorite activity in Vacaville, and there are ample opportunities for you to get to experience it. March alone offers several musical events. Whether you are into classic rock, jazz, or anything in between, you can find it in Vacaville.
On March 16, the Theatre Deville will host a tribute to Foreigner and Journey featuring many of their classic 80s songs. Into hard rock? Listen to the Blue Oyster Cult on March 17 at the Vacaville Performing Arts Center.

You have your choice of two super fun marathons happening in March. If you are a runner, or just want to have a good time, come out and join the fun.
The Mardi Gras Fun Run will take place on March 7 on Merchant Street. Runners can choose from either a 1-mile or 3-mile run. You will be able to enjoy complimentary appetizers and drinks afterward.
The Daiquiri Dash is a 5K fun run on Saturday, March 16, complete with food, fun, and a daiquiri to help you celebrate when you finish. This event is perfect for beginners and is all about friends and family, not completing in a certain amount of time.
Poker Run
Saturday, March 16, the St. Patrick’s Day Poker Run, ending at Iron Steed Harley Davidson, will be taking place. Listen to live music from the band Off The Record, drink green beer, and eat some delicious authentic Irish food. There will also be Irish Jig Dancers and a search for gold coins! If you pre-register, you will get an annual run glass and a free beer. Registration is only $20, so don’t miss out.
Take Care of Yourself
Vacaville is home to several events in March that will help to improve your health. On March 7 listen to heart surgeon and seminar host Dr. Keith Allen, MD, as he talks about Americans and heart disease at the VacaValley Wellness Center. Check-in is at 2:30 p.m., giving you lots of time to enjoy refreshments before the presentation starts at 3:00 p.m. This is a free event.
March 22 there is a trial for a Zumba class at Gold’s Gym of Vacaville. Zumba is a fun way to dance yourself into shape, with easy adjustments made to fit any activity level.
See a Musical
The Vacaville Performing Arts Theater has two amazing family-friendly musicals in store for March 2019. “The Little Mermaid” will be showing on March 7 and 8, and “Shrek” takes the stage on Thursday, March 14 at 7:30 p.m.
